Kup a Joe Cafe is a family-owned breakfast and lunch spot in Frankfort, Illinois. In 2023, Jason and his wife Dana purchased the restaurant from Jason’s father, proudly continuing a legacy built on passion, quality food, and genuine hospitality. Rooted in tradition, the cafe reflects years of dedication to creating a welcoming dining experience for every guest.
Over 40 Years of Experience
Jason brings more than 40 years in the restaurant industry, starting young alongside his father, James, founder of the original Egg & I Restaurant over 50 years ago. Jason later owned the Egg & I in Tinley Park for 15 years and expanded his expertise with the Goddess & the Baker Restaurant Group in Chicago before returning to his true passion.
A True Family-Run Cafe
Today, Jason and Dana pour their heart into every detail, creating a warm, inviting space where guests feel like family. Their three children often work alongside them, making Kup a Joe Cafe truly family-run. They are deeply grateful to serve the Frankfort community and appreciate every guest who supports their small business.
